Collection Details
Commissioned by the sitter's father, Andrea Memmo (1729-1793) in 1786, along with a portrait of himself and his elder daughter Lucia; by descent to Comte Andrea di Robilant; his sale, Christie's, London, 17 July 1931, lot 79, when offered with the portrait of Lucia; bought in; from whom later acquired by Agnew, 1937, and sold to Lord Faringdon. The pendant portrait of Lucia Memmo was sold through Christie's, 19 September 2013,  lot 50, and is in a private collection.
