Visitor Guidelines
All visitors, including members of the National Trust, MUST acquire an admission ticket from the Ticket Office BEFORE entering the Gardens and Pleasure Grounds. Picnic tables are provided near the car park. No picnics are allowed in the Gardens and Pleasure Grounds.
Food or drink is not permitted in the House, and mobile telephones should be switched off before entering.
Visitors are requested not to take any form of photography in the House, to leave backpacks and large bags at the front desk, and to leave pushchairs and buggies outside the House and Tearoom. Two child hipster seats are available in the House for visitors to borrow.
Entry to the House may be refused to visitors unsuitably dressed or wearing footwear which might damage floors and carpets.
The personal use of MP3 players should not intrude upon the enjoyment of other visitors.
There is a comprehensive guidebook available in both the House and Ticket Office at a cost of £3.00: should you wish this to be sent to you, the cost of postage and packing will be £2. Cheques should be made payable to "The Faringdon Collection ".
