By public transport
The nearest rail station is at Swindon (14 miles away), while a number of bus services operate to Lechlade: Thamesdown 67 Swindon––Faringdon (Fridays only); Carterton 64 Swindon––Carterton; Thamesdown 77 Swindon––Cirencester (both the last two services pass close to the rail station in Swindon). The 67 and 77 services only go to Lechlade: alight here – there is then a three mile walk to Buscot Park.
Oxford rail station is 21 miles away, and the Stagecoach Gold Route 66 bus operates between Swindon and Oxford every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday daytimes and hourly on a Sunday, passing through Faringdon.
